Catalan sports daily “Mundo Deportivo” claims that Barca could turn their focus to Russia`s forward Andrei Arshavin, following the complications in Ribery and Robinho transfer.

Latest rumour surfaced after it was revealed that Arshavin signed the contract with Arsenal unaware of high taxes in England and is now unhappy with his wages. Spain on the other hand has a significantly lower taxes and Barca could offer Arshavin a larger contract and still spend less than Arsenal.

It is said that Barca coach, Pep Guardiola wouldn`t mind adding the Russian to his team after he already gave his ok for his signing over a year ago.
