Bayern insists on Ribery stay
Although being linked with various European powerhouses such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United, Bayern Munich brushed off the notion of Ribery leaving the Bavarian capital.
After learning that Arsenal also joined the race for the Frenchman, Bayern`s technical director, Uli Hoeness responded: “They thought Ribery is about to leave? Have we shown any sign of weakness on this issue? Ribery will be with us when we resume training on July 1″, said the German.
New Bayern coach and former Barca manager, Louis van Gaal, sees Ribery as a key player in his project, and according to sources coming from Munich, instructed the management to keep Ribery at all costs.
