FC Barcelona close to signing Chygrynskiy
Catalan newspaper “Sport” claims that FC Barcelona are close to signing Shakhtar`s defender and Ukraine international Dmytro Chygrynskiy. According to the the source the deal could be closed in next few days, for a fee close to 25 million euros.
Reportedly, FC Barcelona coach, brushed off critics who pointed out that Chygrynskiy won`t be able to play in this season`s Champions League, reasoning that the team has a busy schedule with close to 50 games, not counting the Champions League.
“Sport” also added that should Shaktar and Barcelona reach an agreement, Chygrynskiy would have to agree to a lower salary to compensate the Shaktars`s high asking price.

He’ll be a great replacement. He and Pique will be the CB’s of the future along with Muniesa and Botia coming up the rear but they are much younger.
He will be a crucial addition considering El Capitan can’t play every match due to his age, so we can keep Puyol fresh for the Champions League while plaiyng Dmytro in the La Liga matches.
I think it’ll be great, but I’m weary about the price. We definitely are overpaying for him after the Madrid inflation of summer prices.
If signing this chap means Puyol won’t renew his contract then I think we should pass ’cause Puyol is such a key figure on and off the pitch.

It makes sense that we compensate for the heavy price we pay to Shaktar by giving Dymtro a lower wage. I think the condition would be something on the lines that if Brca wins trophies with him then he gets a raise. I really am hoping that Pep has watched enough games of this guy to be certain that this decision doesn’t backfire on us. The pressure will be on Dymtro. He will have big boots to fill and hardly any training with the team and thereby little time to settle and adjust. Just because we chased him doesn’t mean that he will have it easy, he will have to prove his worth.
He is even lowering his salary just so he can play for Barca. This is a great player garantueed. Price a bit high but for a salary of 1.2 mil a year, he’s 22 years old and a five year contract he’s a great addition to the squad
I think he is such a good player,so if we get him it will increase our defending skills.
