david-villa-fcbarcelona-37Spanish daily “Sport” and “Radio Catalunya” claim that FC Barcelona have presented their first formal bid for David Villa.

Offer is consisted of 40 million euros plus the loan of Brazilian striker Keirrison and Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres.

The serious economic situation in Valencia leaves little option for their president, Manuel Llorente, and the negotiations are expected to start soon.
The 547 million debt combined with the construction of the new Mestalla placed Valencia in a situation where they need to sell their players in order to raise money for covering outstanding loans.
