FC Barcelona backup goalkeeper Alber Jorquera signed a contract with Spanish second division team Girona.

Barcelona officially confirmed the Jorquera transfer after the club broke the player`s contract which was expiring in 12 months.

Jorquera signed for Barcelona as a youth player in 1994. Between 2000 and 2002 he spent two years on a loan at lower division teams Ceuta and Mataro.
