Guardiola praises Dynamo Kiev
Barca manager, Pep Guardiola, warned that his team mustn`t lower their guard against Dynamo Kiev. The coach also reminded that in the Ukrainian league, Dynamo is in front of Shaktar, an opponent that FC Barcelona had troubles breaking in the European Super Cup.
During the press conference held at Camp Nou, Guardiola showed his respect towards Dynamo Kiev: ”We know very well that Shakhtar was a hard opponent, and Dynamo looks to be even harder. They defeated Shaktar last season and won the league and this season they are ahead of them as well. They have an experienced team with some very interesting players up front”. They are also very strong physically, very powerful, with a lot of height and have a very good attacking strategy”.
FC Barcelona manager then turned back to his team: “We cannot fail, especially in the home games. And we still don`t know what awaits us in Russia and Ukraine, because we could be forced to play under very low temperatures”.
