Iniesta’s new house in colours of FC Barcelona
The next September will mark 13 years since Iniesta’s arrival to La Masia. Andres has gone from a promising young player to a cult which represents humility, generosity and great quality. His goal at Stamford Bridge depicts his hard work, commitment and dedication to the club.
Andres has spent the period of vacations and his convalescence after an injury, building his new home in Fuentealbilla.
His new house is situated in the street that was named after him, only 100 meters away from peña Andres Iniesta and Bar Lujan which was his grandfather’s ownership. Jose Antonio (by profession a mason), Andres’ father, has been in charge of building his new home. He adorned the facade of the house with the colours of Blaugrana and inscribed a family’s name on the wall which is opulently built above the door.
Even thought Andres’ salary allows him to live a luxurious life he avoided making his house looking ostentatious. He rather stressed an importance on the security system. The only luxury he afforded was a small swimming pool where you can see the colors of the club on its bottom. He didn’t forget about his national team and made some adornments which add to the colourfulness of the house.
The interior of the house was bedecked with many pictures depicting Iniesta’s march toward the top of the mountain; the mountain which is synonymous with his success in FC Barcelona. The house is swarming with pictures of him still being in La Masia; the one in the limelight is Iniesta’s receiving a trophy from Pep Guardiola; another one is from the Champions League final in Paris where he didn’t play and of course the one which portrays this years’ triumph in Rome.
Iniesta’s dedication and commitment has no limits and he can be a role model for all the children who play and do not play football.
