Joan Boix:”FC Barcelona could spend up to €60 million”
FC Barcelona financial vice president, Joan Boix, confirmed for “La Graderia”, the information he provided few weeks ago that Barca could have up to 60 million euros to invest in players.
Boix said: “It would be reasonable if we spent around 30 or 35 million but we can reach a higher figure. At this moment we are talking about a figure close to 60 million euros. A part can be used to reduce debt or for investing but if it`s needed it can also be invested in players “.
FC Barcelona financial director also added that despite the positive news “the excess spending is not recommended”. There are teams that spend more than they earn, but our policy is to slowly build the healthy foundations”, concluded Boix.
