Liverpool asks €50 mil. for Mascherano
According to Madrid based sports daily “Marca”, Liverpool has set 50 million euros as an asking price for the Argentinian midfielder Javier Mascherano.
Reportedly, FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Mascherano but won`t be following up on their interest as they regard the player as too expensive and don`t see a defensive midfielder spot as the most urgent place to strengthen for next season
Madrid based daily claims that Barca coach, Pep Guardiola, has instructed the club that priority is to sign a striker and a left forward as the future of Samuel Eto still looks uncertain and Henry will be turning 32 next month.
