New Camp Nou proposal

new-camp-nou-at-sea-197According to Spanish news daily La Vanguardia, Catalan architect and Barcelona socio Emili Vidal has a plan to build the new Camp Nou stadium in the sea.

Vidal believes that the renovations of the Camp Nou won’t be solving the problems and proposed to erect a new stadium on an artificial isle off the coast. The new Camp Nou would have 150 000 seats.

Following the controversial proposal, Catalan sports daily El Mundo Deportivo issued a story, based upon club sources, claiming that Barcelona won´t be supporting the project.

  6. THis is the worst idea, having a stadium in the sea????? The first thing i think is, the more rain u gonna get. What if an earthquake happens and the sea parts, will the stadium part. Bad idea

    The idea is good and with appropriate safety measures,the natural disasters can be managed.The stadium may be costly but I believe that we need to expand or die.That is the first rule of business
