Speaking for the Catalan sports daily “EMD”, FC Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic, revealed that he’s feeling confident and optimistic about his return to the pitch. “First thing to do is to is to pick up the pace, regain confidence and return to my previous form. I feel confident, I just lack some rhythm”, described the young striker.

Bojan went on and described his current state in FC Barcelona “I feel very strong, both on and off the pitch. I am comfortable playing wherever I’m needed and I`ll fight to give the coach more options in attack”, insisted the young striker.

Bojan was asked about Pedro Rodríguez as a possible rival for his place in the team, to which Bojan responded: “It’s better for Barca to have more players to choose from, and with our busy schedule, everyone will have his chance”, concluded Bojan.

News of the day is the return of FC Barcelona striker, Bojan Krkic, who participated in training today at Ciutat Esportiva, first time since his injury which occurred after the match vs. Sporting Gijon.

After one day of rest Guardiola`s men returned to training in order to prepare for Saturday’s match at Camp Nou against Almeria. Bojan has completed all exercises but is still not fully ready as he is recovering from a ruptured muscle in his left thigh.

Spanish press are speculating that FC Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic could return to action this weekend in the match vs. Almeria.

Bojan suffered a muscle injury in Barca`s league opener vs. Sporting Gijon and has been missing ever since.  Due to the injury Bojan also missed the U-20 World Cup which is taking place in Egypt.

After undergoing medical test in Madrid, FC Barcelona striker, Bojan Krkic, has returned back to Barcelona to continue his recuperation. The young striker suffered a slight muscle tear in his left leg which also prevented him to take part in Getafe-Barca clash.

Bojan´s injury will now be supervised by FC Barcelona medical staff who are also in constant contact with the Spanish Football Federation.

Having won the triplet last year (La Liga, Copa, Champions League), Bojan has an incredible opportunity with his team to round off a spectacular year in terms of trophies.

Winning in Monaco would certainly have a special meaning for the young striker and it would be the second trophy for the team already in the new season. Bojan is entering his third season with the first team and despite his young age he already has experience that many players can only dream of.

Should he receive the call-up, Bojan will probably miss 4 La Liga (Atlético Madrid, Racing Santander, Málaga and Almería) and two Champions League matches.

Barca kicked-off their pre-season with the Wembley Cup where they met Tottenham and Al Ahly. First game the Catalans drew 1-1 with Bojan on the scoresheet. In the second match vs. Al Ahly Barca improved and scored 4 (Bojan, Rueda, Jeffren, Pedro).

The team then travelled to United States where they played Galaxy, Sounders and Chivas, respectively. FC Barcelona scored 7 goals in those 3 games. Messi 2x, Jeffren 2x, Pedro 2x and Bojan.

Next came the Spanish Super Cup and the Gamer trophy. Barca failed to score vs. Manchester City but made it up by winning the Spanish Super Cup, 5-1 on aggregate. (Messi 2x, Bojan, Xavi, Pedro).

According to British press, Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has set his sights on Bojan Krkic and could ask Barcelona to include the youngster in the potential deal for Cesc Fabregas.

Reportedly, the English club first asked 40 million pounds (45 million euros) to start the negotiations for the possible departure of their midfielder. A sum that the Catalans were unwilling to pay. In an attempt to lower the price, Barcelona offered Icelandic international Eidur Gudjohnsen and the Brazilian defender Henrique but Arsenal were not interested in the Barca duo.

According to “Daily Mail”, the only player who would tempt Arsene Wenger to consider another Barca offer for Cesc would be Bojan Krkic but so far there were no signs of Pep Guardiola considering the sale of the youngster.
