Xavi:”We want to change history”
At the press conference before the Dynamo Kiev match, FC Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola, said that if any team was not favored to win the Champions League (having in mind the history of the competition) than that team is Barcelona. Xavi supported the Guardiola`s idea but also made it clear: ”although we aren`t favorites, we will aspire to win it again and change the history of the Champions League.”
“We know that it will be difficult but this team has a special motivation to win it`s 4th Champions League trophy at Santiago Bernabeu”, said Xavi.
Xavi also revealed the key to success of lifting five trophies under Pep Guardiola “we are very respectful towards our rivals and are always staying true to our attacking philosophy. We always go out to the fullest, trying to give everything,” explained the Barca playmaker.
I want us to win 7 straight titles and shove it in real’s faces….messi will still be in his prime so we have a shot.

I don’t like to see comments like the first 2. None of the players do that. Just support Barca without rubbishing Madrid. I dont like the idea of buying your way to the top but the players are noy in control of policy, so respect them.
